Booking Through Thursday: Fluffy Read

Here is this week’s Booking Through Thursday:

What’s the lightest, most “fluff” kind of book you’ve read recently?

Sideways was sort of “fluffy,” I guess, given that it falls under the genre of buddy novel. Although I wouldn’t say the movie was fluffy at all. Funny, but not fluff.

    • Sideways makes for a great movie with Paul Giamatti and Thomas Haden-Church, but the book’s mediocre. I don’t really like labeling books as fluff, but Sideways was less “serious” than say Camus’ The Stranger. And would have been much more fun of a read if Rex Pickett hadn’t tried to make it darker in spots, and left out his attempts at being Harry Crews-Hunter Thompson-crazy-bad.
